Rahala Waterfall are magical waterfall just 16 kms and half an hour drive from manali town.. from Manali in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Vashisht,

Vashisht village is located on Beasriver ,just few minutes drive from manali town(2 Kms). this temple is around 4500 years old .vashisht rishi was one of seven sages .devotees come to vashisht temple for prayers.there are hot water kund also known as vashisht . one of the oldest hot water kund of India . The water of the hot springs and kunds are believed to heal skin problems .vashisht village had a vast past as is ahome town of vashisht rishi. Myth of ramayana is that laxman shot an arrow there and hot springs created. Place is also famous as vashisht bath .Vashisht temple is on the banks of ravi river.you can also visit to heritage stone Rama temple .you can shop pure wool clothes here

Kothi

Kothi village is picnic spot in manali.just 15 kms away from manali town at a hight of 2500 meters above sea level on the way to spiti leh highway.its nice sight for paragliding.there are some good place for camping sight.Rihala falls are 16 kms away from kothi on the same route .you can also enjoy helicopter ride there .Kothi village is bottom of rotang pass.village shows some amazing views of deep valleys and beas river gorge down flowing silently. best site for honeymooners and campers whole year.This village is base camp for trekkers.
